We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2020, at the age of 79, Devene Scroggins of Ringling, Oklahoma, born in Wedowee, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie William Messer and Paulene Messer (Clemens); her husband Troy Scroggins; her siblings, Don Messer (Betty) and Joyce Hood; her niece Patsy Gail Asbery; and her grandson Leslie Asbery.

She is survived by : her daughter Regina Smith (Larry); her siblings, Roy Messer (Rachel), Marolene Phillips (Earl), Laura Robinson (John), Nancy Messer and Peggy Goforth; her granddaughters, Marie Hurst (Jared) and Amy Bryant; and her great grandchildren, Annabel Hurst, Landon Asbery, Blake Bryant, Lala Bryant, Ashton Bryant and Kaylyn Hurst.
