He is survived by : his former life partner Wanda Hobbs; and his children, Monica Day-Vansco (Bill) of McKinney, TX, Charles Day (Cathy) of Cincinnati, OH, Mike Day (Sheila) of Holton, KS, John Day of Roff, OK, Brent Day (Andi), C. W. Cook (Kate) of Goldsby, OK, Kristie Scott (Boyd) of El Reno, OK and Kerrie Buckaloo (Brad) of Wynnewood, OK. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
