She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Childress and Ina Faye Childress (Douthit); and her siblings, Maxine Ladd of Chickasha and Rex Childress of Seminole, Oklahoma.. She is survived by: her son Tom Stroud of Catoosa, Oklahoma; her grandsons, Maxwell Looney and Wyatt Baldwin of Salina, Oklahoma; her sisters, Wilma Martens (Lawny) of Enid and Linda Pewitt of Prague, Oklahoma; her close friend Jane Reed of Salina, Oklahoma; Jane Reed. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was a breast cancer survivor of 15 years and faithfully supported the Breast Cancer Awareness Charity.
