With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen May Jones Shirley of Shattuck, Oklahoma, born in Mooreland, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 23, 2022 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Trissel and May Pearl Jackson Trissel; her husbands, John Jones and Travis Shirley of Woodward; and her brother James Dean "Jimmy" Trissel.

She is survived by : her children, Randy Jones (Tina) of Shattuck, Oklahoma, Linda Jones Haworth (Kirk) of Amarillo, Texas and Rodney Jones (Kathy) of Lakin, Kansas.; her grandchildren, John Jones (Lakresha), Mindy Jones League (Zach), Lindsay Haworth Gomez (Eric), Christy Haworth, Shawn Haworth, Shawn Jones, Shanda Jones (Mishal Njoku), Peyton Jones, John Allen Jones, Jaylon Esparza, Lynlee Esparza, Ava League, Harper League, Drew League, Mali Gomez, Eleri Gomez, Curren Gomes, Levi Gomez, Maverick Gomez, Ifeoma Njoku and Havyn Njoku; and her brother Terry Trissel of Reno. She is also survived by many other cousins and extended family.
