It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ruth Gilbert of Shawnee, Oklahoma, born in Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Harvey Shirley and Nona Shirley; her husband W. Gilbert (Bud); her son Joe; her daughter-in-law Terry Gilbert; her granddaughters, Kennedy Gilbert of Tulsa and Madison Gilbert of Oklahoma City; and her sister Barbara Shirley of Shawnee.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Loaves and Fishes at Immanuel Baptist Church.
