He was predeceased by: his parents, William Davis Hunt and Ethel Viola McKenzie; his wives, Norma Hunt (Marsh) and Euleta Hunt (Feigel); and his siblings, Humbert, Earl Hunt, Eva Pearl Ray, Lavella Mae Zimmerman, Inez Thompson and Irene Haley.
He is survived by: his sons, Buddy Davis Hunt (Michell) of Tahlequah, Charles Alan Hunt of Shawnee and Randy Byers (Linda) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Hilary Kirk (Kevin), Ashley Hunt, Emily Whitley (Trey), Caitlyn Barfield (Trent), Zachary Hunt, Brad Byers (Bonnie) and Billy Byers (Hollie); and his great grandchildren, Blakely Hunt, Caroline Gibbs, Aubrey Gibbs, Kyndall Kirk and Hunter Kirk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and many friends.
