It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Lou Brown of Shawnee, Oklahoma, born in Maysville, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Elmer Ford and Rena Marie Ford (Franklin); her husband James "Sonny" Brown; her sons, James and Joe Brown; and her brothers, Donald and Orville Ford.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Shelli Richards (Adam) of Shawnee; her great grandchildren, Destini and Drake Richards; and her sister Joyce Fern Martin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
