He is survived by : his close friends, Daryl and Klara Kiser; and his children, Vicky (Jackie Allen), Ricky (Shelly Stevens), Edgar Jr. (Glenda Stevens), Betty (Johnny Logue), Anita, Mark (Becky Stevens), Wanda (Dwight Vanderveen), Peggy Sanders, Rita Vinyard and Rebecca Stevens Acuna. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
