Bobby Hobbs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Hobbs of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hobbs and Flora Hobbs (Crites); his wives, Vera Hobbs and Linda Hobbs; his son Anthony Charles "Tony" Hobbs; his siblings, Billy Hobbs, Ted Hobbs, Jay Hobbs, Robert DeWulf, Albert Weathers, Jack Weathers, Alzada McKnight, Lula Dozier, Mary Bishop, Ruby Jackson, June France and Betty Jo DeWulf; and his pet Sid-Vicious.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Jean "Jeannie" Harrington (Jimmy); his sister Ruth Mehl; and his pet Simmons. He is also survived by three grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home (306 N Cline Rd, Coffeyville, KS 67337). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Robbins Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Emmanuel Chapel; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
