James Edmund Halligan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2022, at the age of 86, James Edmund Halligan of Stillwater, Oklahoma, born in Moorland, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Halligan and Ann Halligan (Crawford); and his siblings, Patricia Cooper, Sidney Halligan, Raymond Halligan and Bill Halligan.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Halligan (Sarah) of Charlotte, NC; his wife Ann Halligan (Sorenson); and his sons, Michael Halligan (Glenna) of Houston, TX and Patrick Halligan (Tracey) of Little Rock, AR. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Oklahoma State University Foundation, or St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in c/o Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, 5106 N. Washington, Stillwater, OK., 74075.
