She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Woods (Cox) and Forrest Woods; and her brother J. G. Whitmire. She is survived by: her sister Della Ann Laughlin; and her children, Angela, Deborah, Deidre, Jennifer and Chris. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
