He was predeceased by: his father Edward T. Doolan. He is survived by: his child Thomas; his wife Tracy; his mother Vera Annette Doolan of Sulphur; his son Edward T. "Ted" Doolan, II; his grandsons, Easton Doolan, Colden Doolan and Cannon Doolan; his sister Gayla McKinney (Wiley) of Zollfo Springs, FL; and his mother-in-law Kay Bond of Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
