We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2023, at the age of 77, Ira Earl Sims of Tahlequah, Oklahoma passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ira Earl Sims to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Sims and Vivian Sims (Akins); and his siblings, Wendell, Jerry Sims, Glenda Akins, Leola Sims and Sandra Warrinton.

He is survived by : his close friend LaRieta Black; his wife LaRieta Sims; his children, Michael Black (Dianna Eady), John David Sims (Martha), Anna Reynolds (Jeff), Earlleen Sims of Tahlequah, OK and Shawna Sims of Enid, OK; and his sisters, Roberta Sims of Enid, OK and Naomi Eubank (Jerry). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
