It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joshua David Fritz (Tahlequah, Oklahoma), born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Emerson Fritz; and his grandparents, Albert and Rosalyn Sorkin. He is survived by: his mother Linda Sue Fritz-Gonzalez (Sorkin) of Muskogee, OK; his wife Merle Welch-Fritz; his daughter Libby Fritz of Tahlequah, OK; his siblings, Robert Fritz Jr. (Mark) of Georgia, Jerry Fritz of Muskogee, Jason Fritz (Keli) of Broken Arrow, OK, Rachael Streeter of Florida, Matt Fritz of Georgia and Jayne Bacino of Florida; and his son Axel Fritz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and co-workers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Reed-Culver Funeral Home (117 W Delaware St, Tahlequah, OK 74464). A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Hill Cemetery.
