Akin and Nancy May Akin (Hayter); his wife Lynda Akin; his sons, Charles "Chuck" Hurston Akin, Frederick Akin and Jason Blakely Akin (Amy) of Edmond; his sisters, Oretha L. Ferguson of Norman and Carol Dean Schreiner of Norman; his grandchildren, Josh, Jennifer, Jeremy, Raven and Luke; and his great grandchildren, Harley, Christian, Trevor, Laetyn, Blakely, Samantha, Kyler, Braden, Atticus and Kingston.
