He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Russell (Elkins) and Marvin Russell; his siblings, Otis Russell, Melvin Russell and Mary Jane Russell Garber; and his brother-in-law Wayne Estes.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Russell; his children, Brian Russell, Shelly Sullivan (Marlon) and Amy González (Tony González); his siblings, Marvin Russell, Shirley Estes, Rita Estes (Larry) and Bonnie Russell; his granddaughters, Krista McCarter and Chelsea Hagan (Reuban Hagan); and his great grandchildren, Haylee Hesbrook, Maci Hesbrook, Katelynn Wisinger and Rhesyn Hagan.
