It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arthur Chavez of Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Chavez and Elvira "Vera" Chavez (Perez); and his brothers, Alfred "Freddie", Andres "Andy", Juan "Johnny" and Ernesto "Ernie" Chavez.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Chavez (Houston) of Tulsa; his children, Melanie King-Turner (Ray) of Tulsa, Laurie Chavez (Jim) of California, Larry Chavez (Anna) of California, Corey Skriver (Brad) of California and Trudi Malis (Bernie) of Oregon; his grandchildren, Zachary Bates, Maggie Turner, Dustin Skriver (Rossy), Krysta Stier (Jason), Lauren Bracamontes (Rafael), Marissa Caingcoy (Weston), Nicholas Skriver (Nicole), Jack Chavez, Elise Chavez, Kanan Malis, Kaeley Skriver, Wesley Chavez, Riley Malis, Everett Malis and Chavelle Malis; his great grandchildren, Addilyn Skriver, Rafael Bracamontes, Caleb Skriver, Eliana Bracamontes and Isla Skriver; and his siblings, Armando "Mando" Chavez of California, Albert Chavez of California, Madeline "Nena" Jimenez of California and Patricia "Patsy" Valenzuela of California. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
