It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barney E. Barnes Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney E. Barnes and Margie McCormick Barnes; and his brother Jim Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Trey Barnes (Cindy) of Leawood, Tammy Been (Brian) of Tulsa, Tim Barnes of Tulsa and TJ Barnes (Whitney) of Overland Park, Kansas; his grandsons, Beau Barnes, Blake Barnes, Carson Been, Griffin Been and Remy Barnes; and his sister-in-law Becky Barnes. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
