She is survived by: her spouse Charles Eugene Peterson; her children, Kelly Jean Peterson of Tulsa, OK and Charles Dirk Peterson of Arlington, VA; her brothers, Herbert Maxwell Sheffield of Carl Junction, MO and Louie Heston Sheffield, Jr. of Pinson, AL; and her grandchildren, Angela Lane Morrow of Travis, Amanda Louise Gargan and Andrew Lee Peterson-Gargan. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
