He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Chappell and Velma Mae Dasch. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughters, Tammy Newman (David) and Terri Ehmann (Chuck); his grandchildren, Aimee, Allison and Christopher; his great grandchild Gabriel; and his siblings, David Dason and Linda Burgess. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
