He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eva Lorene and Christian Gottlieb Harer; his wife Charlotte Rutledge; his children, Christian, Madalene, James, John Mark and Annette Harer (Kelley Stafford); and his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Madison and Garrett. He was also cherished by animals, especially his two dogs.
