She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Bauer and Shirley Bauer (Washburn); her husband William Swartz (Bill); and her brother William Bauer. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Fly (Mark) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Steven (Billie) of Ballwin; and her grandson Jay (Michelle) of Springfield, Missouri.. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
