He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliajah Allen and Ada Mae Collins (Logstein); his siblings, Bob Collins of Vester Collins, J. R, Richard Collins, Wesley Collins, Donnie Collins, Elnora Jones, Marie Grant and Viola Collins; his son-in-law Gerald Brooks; and his grandsons, Joseph, Mark Bradfield and Doyie Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Louise Patterson; his children, Robert Stokes of Cleveland, Robbie Bradfield of Terlton, Randy Collins of Wagoner and Amber Edwards of Blackburn, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, James Bradfield, Haliee Bradfield, Hanna Bradfield, Vanessa Stokes, Cassie Edwards, Isaiah Underwood and Tonya Stokes. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
