He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orville Smith and Maxine Smith; his wife Debbie; his children, Tiffany, Jourdan, Tabor and Julio; and his children-in-law, Karen, Stephen, Emily and Iara. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers Chris would like donations made to either Catholic Charities or the Edna Gladney Home.
