He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Hogan and Mary "Janie" Hogan; and his brothers, Michael and Martin. He is survived by: his children, James Robert, Anne Elizabeth and John Charles Ruth (Mary); his wife Jean Ann Cray; and his siblings, Margaret Milano (Margie), Patricia Cass (Patty), Elizabeth VanVleet, Tim Hogan, Teresa Owens, Martha Pledge and Kathleen Beck (Katie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“I was fortunate to have met Chuck while playing the Hogan Tour. In the early 90’s. He helped me not only while playing the tour but in life. I think back on many occasions of our secessions whether it be hiking in Sedona or walking a course before a tournament. His perspectives on life have made me a better man. RIP my friend.
