He is survived by: his spouse Eleanor Bender; his children, Tracey Schmitt (Tim) of Ecorse, Heidi Nelligan of Tulsa and Bradley Nelligan (Tracey) of Tulsa; and his siblings, Diane Smith (Ed), Wendy LaCourse, Don Eichler (Debra) and David Eichler (Sherry). He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather.
