He is survived by: his friend Derrel; his wife Kathy Fortner (Notley); his children, David Fortner (Renee) of Asheville, NC, Jason Fortner (Halina) of Fort Collins, CO and Rebecca Slater (Jeremy) of Flagstaff, AZ; his grandchildren, Asa, Sam, Henry, Natasza, Alex and Lena; and his siblings, Henry Fortner of Heavener, OK, Leon Fortner of Garland, TX, Gracie Shelton of Garland, TX, Marlene Andrews of Garland, TX, Gary Fortner of Heavener, OK and Betty Jennings.
