He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Degen and Harry Degen; his wife Sylvia Wolfson; his daughter Jan; and his sisters, Florence, Maxine and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his daughter Mallory (Lea Ann); his grandchildren, Wendy Frankenburger (Kevin) and Aaron Degen Brown; his great grandchildren, Ameera and Charlie; and his brother-in-law Nate Wolfson. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
