It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Loretta Langley in Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Pryor, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Carter and Kathryn Carter (Stamper); her son Greg Powers; her siblings, Erma Carter, Pat Hathaway and James "Jimmy" Carter; and her grandson Cody Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Eugene Langley; her children, Rick Powers of California, Stephanie Baker (Joel) of Talala, Thomas J. Langley (Lou) of Muchne and Brandy Weddle (Michael) of Washington; her grandchildren, Carisa, Heather, Desirae, Ashley, Thomas, Julie, Lauren and Ricky; her great grandchildren, Aydreana, Cody, Dallas, Robbie, Zach, Marissa, Mark and Rayden; and her brother Sammy Carter of Salina.
She had a kidney transplant 39 years ago and her brother was the donor; she has been a huge advocate for Life Share and organ donation since.
