She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest McAlester and Bessie McAlester (Smith); and her siblings, Jimmie Dixon, Wanda Lawrence and Margaret Pickle.
She is survived by: her spouse Evert Leon Gibson; her sons, Leon Gibson of Tulsa and Larry Gibson (Paula) of Wagoner; her grandson Gerad Gibson (Brook) of Jenks; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Hailey and Rachel Gibson; and her siblings, Sue Mings, Joan Ollar, Linda Boucher, Evelyn Butler and J. E. McAlester.
