She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Gordon Maddux and Ruby M. Maddux (Rusk); her husband Harry Messimore; her children, Lilian Cumby of Havelock, Loretta Summers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gerald Eugene Carpenter of Purcell and Fred Bogan of Jenks, Oklahoma; and her sisters, Deloris Crupper of Detroit and Doris Holeman of Clearwater, Florida. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
