She was predeceased by: her parents, Angel Velazquez Rodriguez and Maria Alfonsa Navarrete Villanueva; her siblings, Angel Velazquez Navarrete, Manolo Velazquez Navarrete and Juan Velazquez Navarrete; and her son Miguel Angel Velazquez Navarrete.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paquita Velazquez Cowan (Packy) of Tulsa and Gina Marie Cowan Morgan (Shawn) of Moreno Valley, California; and her sisters-in-law, Jan Katherine Cowan-Gaona (Gilberto Sr.) of Atascadero, California and Nancy Jean Lipsett-Cowan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
