She was predeceased by: her husband Karl William Abel; and her parents, Hazel Claypool (Scott) and Arthur Claypool. She is survived by: her children, Scott Abel (Carolyn) and Karla Carter (Mark). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
