As Mary Freda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary Freda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary Freda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant B. Burris and Olease Burris; her brothers, Max and Earle Burris; and her grandmother Piper.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Bill" Colberg; her daughter Cherie Ann Richter (Francis) of Anchor Point, Alaska; and her grandsons, Kyle Ayers (Heather) and Tye. She is also survived by her family—especially her daughter and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service (211 E Broadway St, Sand Springs, OK 74063). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Broadway Baptist Church (1000 N Adams Rd, Sand Springs, OK 74063).
