He was predeceased by: his parents, Stratton Appleman and Edna Appleman (Howarth); his wife Joyce Ann Vaught; and his siblings, Norma Lee Trenfield and James Appleman.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Appleman, Kent Appleman, Jacki Doak and Patti Swiderski; his siblings, Ron Appleman and Nancy McClure; his children-in-law, Carrie, Steve and Thad; his grandchildren, Laura, Chris, Molly, Megan, Tripp and Karlee; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn, Reagan and Ryan.
