He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Averill and Catherine Biggerstaff Averill; and his brothers, John E. Averill Jr. and Charles Averill. He is survived by: his brothers, James Averill of Houston and David Averill of Tulsa; his nieces and nephews, Amy, Bruce of Missouri, Kelly, John (Heather) of Texas, Ellen and Mike (Crystal) of Tulsa; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Samantha, Jackie, Grant of Texas, Nick, Wyatt of Tulsa, Lucas and Cooper; and his niece Ryenn Crow of Tulsa.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, funeral arrangements are family only, under the direction of Ninde Funeral Directors of Tulsa.
