She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Moore (Saunders) and Omar Moore; her daughter Caroline Hughes; and her brothers, Jack Moore, Benjamin Moore and Hauris Moore.
She is survived by: her husband Ovid Bruce; her children, Sharon Whaley (Robert), Kathy Boynton (Mark), Ovid Brian Bruce and Orville Bruce (Milean); and her siblings, Billie Jean Staton, Louella Swayze, Juanita Lackey, Marvin Moore and Mary Baird. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
