She was predeceased by: her father Phillip Thompson; her brother Phillip Thompson Jr.; and her close friend Christy Ramsey. She is survived by: her mother Teresa Thompson (Brewer); her husband Joe Gonzales; her children, Veronica Thompson, Nasaria Thompson (Anthony Seals), Joleania Gonzales (Deandre McCain), Jose Gonzales Jr., Sonia Gonzales, Yolanda Gonzales and Joseph Gonzales; her grandchildren, Elijah McCain, Hazel McCain, Kaylynn Seals, Ezia McCain, Carlito McCain and Karmelo Seals; and her siblings, Pamela Dougels, D. J. Thompson, Brent Thompson, Brian Thompson, Starla Thompson, Richard Brewer, Keith Thompson, Leanne Johnson and Steven Brewer. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
