He was predeceased by : his father Rev. Billy James Goins Sr.; his grandparents, James, Gladys Goins, Ben and Vivian Alsup; his brother-in-law Ronald Pounds; and his aunts and uncles, Sue Alsup, Ada Nickell, Audrey Reed, Mike Alsup, Bob Blagg and Ed Nickell.

He is survived by : his parents-in-law, Monica McGee and Edward McGee (Evelyn) of Moreno Valley, California; his wife Monica McGee Goins; his children, Billy James Goins III (Brianna) and Sarah Goins; his grandchildren, Marceli Goins and Billy James Goins IV; his mother Rev. Janis Alsup Goins (Alsup) of Smiths Station, Alabama; and his siblings, Randy Goins (Vyckie) of San Bernardino, California, Cindy Goins Pounds of Smiths Station, Leisa Goins Cierley (Herb) of Smiths Station, Donna Simien (Darrell) of Corona, Rhonda Watson (Stefan) of Moreno Valley and Yolanda Lewis of Inglewood, California. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many good friends.
