He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Cy and Bessie McDowell Hicks; his son Gary Wayne Hicks; and his brother Johnie Hubert Hicks. He is survived by : his wife Betty Frances; his sister Darlene Chew of Miami; his children, Vicki Helen McAffrey (Bobby) of Monkey Island, Frances Deanne Smith of Bartlesville, Elizabeth Denise Hicks of Vinita and Danny Hicks (Vanessa) of Vinita; his grandchildren, Casey Bennett, Dustie Speer, Anna Clayberger (Bixby), TJ Hicks, Kylee Newport, Sara McAffrey, Joshua McAffrey, Joe Dan Hicks, Aidan Hicks, Loudan Hicks, Gary Wayne Hicks, Jr. and Amanda Colleen Hicks; and his close friends, Mike and Gina Manders of Miami. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
