With solemn reverence, we commemorate Shannon Marie Bassett of Vinita, Oklahoma, whose life came to an end on October 17, 2025 at the age of 52, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Larry Seaton; and her grandparents, Bill, Betty Lawrence, Lawrence and Mary Lou Seaton.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Jo Lawrence-Seaton (Bill) of Chelsea; her brothers, Shane Seaton (Christi) of Vinita and Shad Seaton of Vinita; her children, Dustin Bassett, Amber of Vinita, Maddie Bergosh (Zach) of Vinita, Mollie Bassett and Tristan Hoffman of Vinita; her grandsons, Swayde and Blair Bassett; her siblings' children, Taylor Nolte, Racie Seaton, Will Seaton, Caleb Way and Riley Seaton; and her great-nephews, Gus and Pecos Nolte. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cowboy Junction Church (27662 S 4380 Rd, Vinita, OK 74301).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, or to Cowboy Junction Church in Shannon's memory.
