She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Childress and Martha Childress. She is survived by: her siblings, John Michael Childress of Tulsa and Jo Ann Bruton (James "Jim") of Broken Arrow; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Childress (Valerie) of Wagoner, Jarrett Bruton of Neosho, Wade Childress (Tammy) of Westville, Adam Childress (Erin) of Georgia, Julie Bruton of Olathe and Leah Childress of Cape Coral.
