She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bruton and Alberta Bruton (Tarver); her husband Byrd Daniel Grayson; and her sister Gladys Carter. She is survived by: her children, Patricia (Michael Black), Brenda (Frankie Lane), James Grayson of Dayton, Edward Grayson of Wagoner, Angeline Grayson of Dallas and Tina Grayson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her brother Carl Phillips (Norma) of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other extended family and Effies' friends.
