He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Lee Deacon (Sharmacher) and Charles Deacon; his former wife Nancy Deacon; his brother Mike Deacon; his brother-in-law David Carr; and his friend Tuffy Tuttle.
He is survived by: his fiancée Teresa Ann Newell; his siblings, Pat Deacon and Linda Carr; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Leslie, Emily, Charlie, Jeff, Mikel, Andrew, Sara, Amy, Brent and Alisha. He is also survived by his grand-nieces and grand-nephews; his extended family and many friends.
