He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Zoe C. Hill and Charles Hill; his wife Barbara Rogers; his daughter Kay; his son-in-law Tim Chastain of Allen, TX.; his grandchildren, Ben Chastain (Marisa), Granbury and Norman; his great grandchildren, Knox, Silas, Case, Blaklyn and Breck; his brothers-in-law, W. D. Rogers (Dub), Edmond and Charles Hill; and his siblings, Lois Wilson and Jack Hill. He was also cherished by Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
