He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson A. Newby and Patsy Newby (Goins); his grandparents, William and Dulsa Goins; and his stepdaughter Jessica Lynn Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Newby (Scarborough); his children, Stephen Newby, William "Billy" Newby Jr., Joshua Newby and Bethany Newby; and his stepdaughters, Anissa R. Wheeler (Carl) and Nichole Bearden (Robbie Hall). He is also survived by numerous grand children, great grandchildren and many other relatives and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the First Baptist Church located at 401 NE 2nd Street in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
