It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darla Jean Upchurch in Weatherford, Oklahoma, born in Leedey, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Othel Holcomb (Clark) and Carl Holcomb; her husband Vernon Upchurch; her brother Carl Holcomb; and her close friend Jason Kormanik.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Upchurch, Verna Donoho (Jim) and Robin Snider (Tim); her sister Carlene Smith; her grandsons, Ty Curry, Justin (McKenzi Snider), Jacob (Nicole Donoho) and Joshua (Ashley Donoho); her great grandchildren, Breanna (Malachi Grames), Matthew (Taegen Curry), Sarah Curry, Payton Curry, Emma Snider, Kamdyn Snider, James Snider, Elijah Donoho, Josiah Donoho, Soloman Donoho and Eleanor Donoho; her great great grandchild Paisley; her sisters-in-law, Pat Felton and Louise Fields; and her close friends, Carla, Joe Kormanik, Amber, Jason Jones, Ben and Brier Kormanik.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (719 N Kansas St, Weatherford, OK 73096). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford.
