She was predeceased by : her parents, Frankie L. Underwood and George C. Underwood of Waukomis, Oklahoma.; her former life partner Paul Fry; and her siblings, Harris, James, Harold, Shirley and Frances.

She is survived by : her spouse Ruth Carroll; her son Patrick Fry (Joan Rebecchi) of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Hannah and Zack; and also Thayne Hedges. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
