She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Eugene Cossey and Elsie Marie Northcutt Cossey. She is survived by : her husband Randy Brooks; her daughter-in-law Jeri Brooks; her niece Jacy Coats; her great-nieces, Bren, Sunny and Hope; and her pet Jetta Peach.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Wewoka (301 S Mekusukey Ave, Wewoka, OK 74884).
