He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Cole (McClain) and Fate Cole. He is survived by: his wife Janice Cole; his children, Joan Cooper of McAlester and Clay; his daughter-in-law Iris Cole of Wilburton; his sisters, Debra Redmon of Wilburton, Oklahoma, Francie (James Greathouse) and Diane (Harley Shelton); his grandchildren, Clay Cooper II, Chad Cole, Dakota Cooper, Rebecca Krause and Breauna Cole; and his great grandchild Carter Ellis Lee Cooper.
